Wheels of Mercy

This 10 minute film was put together by the people at ProjectRwanda.org, the organization of Tom Ritchey. It should help to give an understanding of why we are doing the 50 Mile Ride. If you would like to get involved with the ride let me know.

Real time blogging from our meeting

We are sitting here in Doug Grant's West America Graphics office sipping Rwandan coffee and eating ginger snaps. Tonight's roster included Rich Wood, Roger Toubeaux, Chris Miller, Gregg Howard, Doug Grant and me (Andy B).

Good stuff came out of tonights meetings and we are moving along nicely, the ride price has been set at $40.00. Also, Greg and Roger arm wrestled and Gregg punched Roger in the face which was pretty cool (just kidding, but I wanted to add some spice to the post).

I think Gregg is going to be posting a picture of tonights meeting soon.

Many updates were made on 50MileRide.com today so check it out.

The first of many entries

This is the inaugural post on the 50 Mile Ride blog. Besides ride updates we will be compiling interesting tidbits about the behind the scenes antics that go down to put this ride together. We promise not to post about how many hairs Doug Grant is losing on a daily basis. Although many of you may find that compelling.

The first piece of ride news is to be on the look out for our brand new logo designed by Danny Grant. He did an incredible job. You can download the new logo in our press packet that is post over at 50MileRide.com.
